OH NO HE DI’INT! Week 7 edition:

Good:

1) At Hard Count, we make fun of kickers all the time. They aren’t “real” football players but we have to give Pat Mcafee his due. Now this is a HIT! I think the ref wanted to throw a flag for unnecessary roughness but realized it was the KICKER! So they let him have his moment. Enjoy this while next week, we will show video of Pat Mcafee getting lit up.

2) We are getting to the great part of the college football season. Upsets are happening all over the place but also add amazing catches to an upset…..We are in HEAVEN! Tennessee WR Marquez North amazing catch against South Carolina, leading the Vols to a last-minute field goal to beat the Gamecocks.

3) Football lost two legends this weekend. We would like to take a moment to honor them both. Bum Phillips, a former head coach for Houston Oilers and New Orleans Saints. He brought class to the game of football and made it for the better.

Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams who was the longest active tenure NFL owner. He was co-founder of the AFL and has brought football to two great cities, Houston and Nashville. We should all be thankful for him because without him, the game wouldn’t be where it is now

Bad:

1) Now, I have never scored a touchdown in my life but this touchdown celebration by Logan Ryan would never crossed my mind to do.

2) Who has ever said “Lets bring back those old Packers uniform?” Because I would like to beat them!!!!! Why do I have to see these god awful uniforms?

Ugly:

1) I wonder if these security guys at the stadiums get paid really well. If not….this guy should quit his job!

Chance Warmack #10 pick for the Tennessee Titans

Tennessee-Titans-Chance-Warmack

Chance Warmack

Position: Guard

Height: 6’2 Weight: 325 Arms: 35 3/4 Hands: 9 5/8 40 time: 5.49

Hey, take a Chance on Warmack! Ha. Hey, why don’t you play Chance with Warmack? Ha. Why won’t you give a Chance to Warmack? Ha. Don’t leave anything to Chance…..Warmack! ha! Alright, i am done….on a Chance! Ok, NOW i am done.

Chance Warmack came to Alabama as a 3 star recruit from Atlanta, Georgia. Never saw much action as a freshman but after that he started 13 games in 3 straight years. Gained a lot of accolades like, Sports Illustrated‘s preseason All-American team, Consensus All-American (2012) and First-team All-SEC (2012).

Strength:

+ Does a good job pulling and getting to the second level. Once he gets there…he moves them.

+ He does not get pushed backwards.

+ Amazing downhill blocker. Really gets low and drives the defender back.

+ Does an amazing job shadowing the defender and staying with them.

Needs Improvement:

– Not as athletic, causes him to miss out on screen plays.

– Doesn’t have lateral quickness and will miss out on athletic defenders.

– Has to work on his cut blocking.

– Pass blocking skills are mediocre.

Summary:

This is a perfect fit for the Tennessee Titans and Mike Munchak. As a former offensive lineman, Munchak knows how important a great offensive line is and how much of impact a running game makes on a young quarterback like Jake Locker. I think the Titans made the pick, they had to make. I think Warmack will be a strong player for them, for years to come.
